Nitrome
A site filled with interesting games with a twist. It mostly consists of platformers and puzzle games. My favorites are "Dirk Valentine", "Fat Cat", and "Numbskull".
Eyezmaze
Another game site with some very weird games, mostly puzzles. My favorites are the "Grow" series.
Smogon
A pokémon forum (yes, pokémon). It focuses on the competitive aspect of many pokémon. It also has the CaP project, a very involved, thorough, democratic process designed to expand the metagame.
Serebii
Another pokémon site. This database contains anything you could possibly want to know about pokémon, and then some.
8-Bit Theater
A hilarious webcomic based (very loosely) around the first Final Fantasy game.
Zentendo
A Nintendo-centric news site and forum.
Zelda Reorchestrated
A site devoted to reorchestrating and improving the sound quality of various songs from the Legend of Zelda series.
Cracked
A humorous blog that posts things like "The 7 Deadliest Creatures (That Can Fit in Your Shoe)". Occasionally NSFW.
